Lithuanian man stole cars in Warmia and Masovia, planned to take them to Lithuania
In September 2026, several cars were stolen in Elbląg, Olsztyn, Orzysz and Ełk. Police from Olsztyn, Elbląg and the Regional Police Headquarters in Białystok, in coordination with officers from Lithuania, determined that the perpetrator was a Lithuanian citizen who was forcing vehicle locks and planning to export them to his country. The man was arrested — this was not his first such criminal activity.
