EU blocks Poland's plan to provide subsidies to MAN truck factory

The European Commission ruled Monday that Poland's planned financial support for expanding the MAN truck factory in Niepołomice violates EU state aid rules. Poland will not be able to transfer the planned funds to the investor. The Commission stated the subsidy would distort competition in the common market.
