Tigray: rebels forcibly enlist boys from age 15 into army

Fighting has resumed in Ethiopia's Tigray region between the federal government and the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF), breaking the Pretoria peace agreement concluded in November 2022. New armed alliances are forcibly recruiting men and boys from age 15, capturing them on streets. Civilians are attempting to flee the region, and the situation threatens another humanitarian crisis.
