Wroclaw seniors lose 180,000 zloty to telephone scammers

Four people aged 86–91 from Wroclaw and Wroclaw county fell victim to telephone scammers and lost a total of over 180,000 zloty and gold jewelry. The criminals called with fabricated stories and pressured the seniors into giving cash. Police are urging people to talk with elderly relatives about scammers' tactics.
