Trump approves execution by firing squad for Fort Hood massacre perpetrator

President Donald Trump approved on Monday the execution by firing squad of Nidal Hasan — a military psychiatrist convicted of killing 13 people at Fort Hood base in 2009. It will be the first execution carried out by the U.S. military since 1961. The date and location of the execution are to be determined by the military.
