Reflection AI, backed by Nvidia, unveiled the language model Beam — an efficient open-source model whose capabilities are intended to match Chinese counterparts. Beam is meant to help the U.S. narrow the technological gap with China in artificial intelligence. The model is released openly to accelerate adoption by developers.
