Drunk driver hits church wall in Rozmierz and flees scene

On Wednesday, September 30, after 4 p.m., a Suzuki driver damaged a church fence in Rozmierz near Strzelce Opolskie and left the scene. A witness driving behind him reported that the man had difficulty maintaining his lane on Jemielnicki Street and tried to drive through a gate on Strzelecki Street. The woman gave police dash cam footage and a description of the driver, who was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.
