AK liaison never forgave her mother: excerpt from "The Last Voice"
As a teenager, Anna Reszuto carried messages and learned first aid, dreaming of fighting in the Warsaw Uprising. Just before it broke out, her mother took her to the countryside under the pretext of a summer break. When the daughter saw her mother in autumn 1944, she told her: "I will never forgive you for this until my dying day." The memoir excerpt appeared in Wiktor Słojkowski's book "The Last Voice".
