Russia expands bases near NATO borders: barracks and warehouses replace former forests

Scandinavian journalists have revealed that Russia is rapidly expanding military infrastructure near Europe's borders — where forests and empty terrain stood just years ago, barracks, warehouses and new bases are now being built. Niels Fastrup, co-author of the investigation, told TVN24+ that Russia is preparing infrastructure for swift troop deployment. According to him, this is preparation for large-scale war, and the Kremlin wants to play a dominant role in the region.
