Trial begins for ex-soldier accused of spying: he collected data on Jasionka airport
The Appeal Court in Lublin has opened proceedings against 50-year-old Paweł K. from Hrubieszow, preliminarily sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for readiness to spy for Russian intelligence services. Investigators say he gathered information about Jasionka airport intended to help plan an attack on Ukraine's president. Charges also include illegal weapons possession.
