66-year-old with illegal distillery in Opole: over 170 liters of alcohol
Police from the Economic Crime Division of Opole police headquarters, together with the National Tax Administration, entered a property in Opole on September 30. They found a 66-year-old man with equipment for unlicensed alcohol production, over 170 liters of finished spirits, and ingredients for additional batches. Nearly 5,000 zloty was also seized. The man was charged with producing alcohol without a permit, which carries a sentence of up to 3 years in prison.
