Two Romanians rob jeweler in Oslo, detained in Gdynia after ferry crossing
On October 1 in Oslo, two Romanian men threatened a jeweler's employee with a knife and stole gold items worth several hundred thousand Norwegian crowns. They fled in a Volkswagen, then boarded a ferry to Gdynia. Polish police, alerted by the SIRENE office, were waiting on the dock and on October 2 around 7:15 detained both men on Polska Street in Gdynia. Recovered items included 49 gold chains, a silver chain, a brooch, and a watch face.
