Biljana Plavšić, Bosnian Serb leader accused of war crimes, dies

Biljana Plavšić, former Bosnian Serb politician, has died. The Hague Tribunal convicted her of crimes against humanity related to the Bosnian war. Plavšić pleaded guilty but later recanted her testimony, declaring she "would do the same." She was among the highest-ranking women tried for war crimes in the former Yugoslavia.
