Drunk motorcyclist hits deer, crashes into ditch near Milicz

On Thursday, 1 October around 6:30 near Ruda Milicka, a 50-year-old resident of Milicz gmina riding a Yamaha hit a deer crossing the road, lost control and drove into a roadside ditch filled with water. The man suffered no injuries, but a breathalyzer showed nearly one percent alcohol. Police confiscated his motorcycle and took him to the Milicz station. Driving while intoxicated carries up to 3 years in prison and at least a 3-year driving ban.
