Over 400 schools in France closed due to student protests
On Monday, over 400 French schools were fully or partially closed due to unmet safety conditions, Education Minister Édouard Geffray announced. Since the start of last week's unrest, 24 schools have been burned or vandalized, and 78 education staff have been injured. Authorities are preparing for another week of student protests.
