Poland wins right to independently service Apache helicopter engines

Polish technicians secured Pentagon approval to independently service engines of AH-64 Apache helicopters—components covered by strict U.S. military secrecy. Until now each repair required sending equipment to the United States, meaning months of downtime. The new authorization covers the fleet of 96 Polish Apaches and means full service independence. The Pentagon imposed a condition of zero tolerance for errors and information leaks.
