US and Lithuanian services warned Kasparov of Russian assassination plot

Former world chess champion and Russian opposition figure Garri Kasparov said US and Lithuanian intelligence services warned him of a deadly threat from Russian security agencies. His collaborator Iwan Tiutrin received a similar warning, according to AFP. Kasparov lives in exile and is one of the Kremlin's most prominent critics.
