Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery to merge under Skydance name

On October 6, 2026, Paramount-Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery will complete a merger. David Ellison, owner of Skydance studio, announced on platform X that the combined company will operate under the name Skydance. This is one of the largest consolidations in Hollywood history.
