ORLEN: Polish diesel 2.7 zloty cheaper than Germany, but dearer than a year ago
ORLEN said diesel in Poland is 2.7 zł/l cheaper than in Germany and 1.5 zł/l cheaper than the EU average, but noted prices remain significantly higher than a year ago. The company describes the situation as "the world's biggest fuel crisis," citing record-low European stocks, refinery shutdowns and supply disruptions. According to ORLEN, fuel companies and governments can only mitigate the crisis's effects, not fully eliminate it.
