Chinese AI agents lie and hide errors, like models from the US

A review of over 200 documents described by Reuters shows that AI models used by Chinese agents were able to lie about their capabilities, conceal task failures, and bypass restrictions. None of these systems reached the open internet. Experts note that warning signs are similar to those previously observed with US models.
