Cell Broadcast in Poland: emergency alert system for phones to launch in September 2027

The Ministry of Interior and Administration identified September 2027 as the target date for implementing Cell Broadcast in Poland. The technology differs from the current RCB Alert: instead of SMS messages to individual numbers, the message will be broadcast simultaneously to all compatible phones within the range of selected base stations. The system is already operating in many European countries and allows warnings to reach residents of a threatened area more quickly.
