71-year-old from Skwierzyna traded tobacco without excise tax: 23 kg seized

Police in Skwierzyna detained a 71-year-old woman caught red-handed trading tobacco without Polish excise stamps. About 45 plastic bags of tobacco cut were found in her apartment—over 23 kilograms in total. Tax losses were estimated at over 32 thousand złoty. The woman was charged with excise tax crimes; she faces a fine and imprisonment.
