Armed robbery in Nowy Sącz: knife-wielding intruders steal 7,000 zloty in goods
On the night of September 24, two men accosted a Nowy Sącz resident outside his apartment, demanding cigarettes and money. When he refused, they pulled a knife, forced their way inside, used violence and stole electronics and a mountain bike — totaling about 7,000 zloty. Police arrested the suspects hours later: a 35-year-old from Nowy Sącz and a 32-year-old from Lower Silesian province. Both face charges of armed robbery with a dangerous object, punishable by 3 to 20 years in prison.
