Finland's president: without Ukraine invasion, we wouldn't have joined NATO

Finland's President Alexander Stubb said at the Helsinki Security Forum that Finland and Sweden would never have joined NATO had Russia not launched a full-scale attack on Ukraine in February 2022. Stubb assessed that by deciding to invade, Vladimir Putin himself contributed to the expansion of the alliance that Russia sees as its greatest adversary.
