A Lublin resident fell victim to a "fake police officer" scam, handing over cash in various currencies worth over 50,000 zlotys to someone posing as a police officer's assistant. Police quickly identified a suspect: a 42-year-old from Opole Voivodeship was detained hours after the report on the A2 highway in Pruszków County. Police found cash in various currencies totaling over 50,000 zlotys and five mobile phones in his Volkswagen.
