Affair and blackmail cited in death of Częstochowa detention officer
Mariusz Z., 34, a guard at the pre-trial detention facility in Częstochowa, fatally shot himself in a restroom at a gas station in Miedźna (Kłobucki district). According to new findings reported by tabloid Fakt, the man was a victim of psychological harassment by a coworker at the same facility with whom he had an affair and who blackmailed him. The Częstochowa District Prosecutor's Office and the Director General of the Prison Service are investigating the new circumstances.
