GUS: Over 42% of working Poles combine work with care for relatives

According to GUS data, 42.4% of working Poles care for children, grandchildren, or adult relatives requiring support. Among caregivers, 80% care exclusively for children or grandchildren under 15, while 14.8% care exclusively for adult relatives. Care duties are declared more often by women (38.5%) than men (33.1%), and one in five people combining work with care have made changes to their working hours or schedule.
