Binance serves EU customers without MiCA license as regulators demand answers

European regulators, including ESMA, are investigating how Binance continues to provide services to EU customers without a MiCA license. The exchange invokes reverse solicitation, an exemption allowing it to serve customers acting purely on their own initiative. ESMA stresses, however, that this mechanism can only be applied in very limited cases.
