NASA selects PRIMA telescope to study the history of the universe

NASA announced that the PRIMA mission (PRobe far-Infrared Mission for Astrophysics) is advancing to the next phase of development. It is a far-infrared space telescope designed to study the history and evolution of the universe. PRIMA is the first mission in NASA's new Probe Explorers class, operating within the multi-year Explorers program.
