Hrubieszow resident convicted of spying for Russia
Paweł K. from Hrubieszow was convicted of willingness to act for Russian intelligence against Poland and illegal possession of weapons. He contacted Russians involved in armed operations in Ukraine and gathered information about security at Rzeszów-Jasionka airport intended for an attack on President Zelensky. He also planned to accept Russian citizenship and join Wagner Group. The prosecutor is demanding a harsher sentence at the appeal hearing in Lublin.
