Co-pilot attacked captain on Dubai-Tel Aviv flight; passengers subdued him

A co-pilot attacked the captain with a knife during a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, seeking to cause the plane to crash. Passengers and crew subdued the attacker. The aircraft descended 4 kilometers before a second pilot team took control and landed safely. Israeli authorities determined the attacking pilot was an Omani citizen and likely acted alone.
