Killer of 49-year-old woman deemed insane, investigation closed

19-year-old Jakub L., who bludgeoned a random 49-year-old woman with a hammer in a forest in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, has been found by experts to have been completely insane at the time of the act. The Opole prosecutor's office has dropped criminal proceedings against the suspect — prosecutor Stanisław Bar stated that Jakub L. had completely lost the ability to control his conduct at that time.
