Fatal shooting during hunt in Milejów-Wieś, hunter charged with murder
On November 11, 2025 in Milejów-Wieś (łęczyński county), a fatal shot was fired during an individual hunt. Accused Dariusz L. used a HIKMICRO TH50Z 2.0 thermal scope and—according to the prosecutor—fired without personal target identification despite foreseeing that his intended target could be a person. The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Lublin charges him with acting with eventual intent to kill.
