Ransomware hits vocational college in Suwałki: PESEL and bank account data at risk

On Monday, September 28, Państwowa Uczelnia Zawodowa im. prof. Edwarda F. Szczepanika in Suwałki fell victim to a ransomware attack that encrypted servers, temporarily blocking access to databases and backups. The college warns that student, graduate and employee data may have been compromised, including PESEL numbers and bank account details. The institution reported the incident the day after the attack.
