"Wielka Woda 2026" flood drills held in Stężyca and Dęblin
Regional flood exercises "Wielka Woda 2026" took place in Rycki county, with a scenario involving heavy rainfall and rising Vistula levels threatening embankments near Dęblin and Stężyca. Soldiers from the Lublin brigade reinforced and raised embankment crests, built a mobile barrier on the Vistula and patrolled threatened sections. Military and rescue services participated, coordinating search operations in flooded areas.
