Germany finds effective way to stop martens damaging cars

In autumn and winter, martens often shelter under car hoods and chew wiring, hoses and insulation. Germany addresses this problem using devices that emit ultrasound or electrical voltage around vehicles, which effectively deter these animals. These methods are available at automotive shops and do not harm martens.
