Court approves Paramount's acquisition of Warner Bros. for 111 billion dollars

A judge green-lit the transaction in which Paramount will acquire Warner Bros. for 111 billion dollars, creating a new entertainment giant in Hollywood. The deal is expected to close on 6 October. The merger of both studios is set to create one of the world's largest media and entertainment entities.
