Putin bans cash exports exceeding 1 million rubles to seven ex-Soviet states

Vladimir Putin signed a decree prohibiting the export of cash exceeding 1 million rubles (approximately 46,000 PLN) to seven countries — Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Four of them are members of the Eurasian Economic Union. The restriction aims to tighten control over capital flows leaving Russia's borders.
