Constitutional Court president bypasses finance ministry block, submits 2027 budget plan

Constitutional Court president Bogdan Święczkowski invoked "a state of higher necessity" to send the Sejm marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty the Court's financial plan for 2027. The government omitted the Constitutional Court from next year's budget draft, denying it funds. Święczkowski is attempting to circumvent the Finance Ministry's blockade and secure funding for the Court.
