Defense ministry changes air defense procedures: new rules from October 1

Poland is introducing simplified procedures for identifying and shooting down foreign objects in Polish airspace, effective October 1. Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz reported full readiness of the new procedures, a response to ongoing Russian drone strikes over Ukraine. The changes aim to increase security of Polish airspace.
