Tanzania requires tourist insurance starting 2026

From October 1, 2026, every tourist entering continental Tanzania must purchase local tourist insurance. The policy costs 44 dollars (about 170 zloty) per person and covers a maximum of 92 days. It can be bought before departure or at the border. It is an additional cost raising the price of holidays in the country.
