Poland's inflation rises to 4% in September 2026

Poland's inflation reached 4% year-on-year in September 2026, according to a GUS preliminary estimate, up from 3.4% in August. The rate has returned above the upper bound of the National Bank of Poland's inflation target band of 3.5%. The acceleration may prompt the Monetary Policy Council to review plans for interest rates.
