A senior in Szczecin fell for scammers posing as bank employees, believing her savings were at risk. She withdrew 49,700 zloty and left the cash in a waste bin following phone instructions. A 51-year-old man was detained by officers from the Criminal Division of the Szczecin police when removing the money — the full amount was recovered. The man was taken into custody, and a court will decide his fate.
