19-year-old from Lublin defrauded 85-year-old of 100,000 zloty using "accident" scam

Police in Lublin arrested a 19-year-old suspected of fraud using the "accident" scam method. The victim — an 85-year-old resident of Lublin county — lost 100,000 zloty after being convinced that a close relative had caused a car accident. The suspect is being taken to the prosecutor and court. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
