Three teenagers die after car plunges into river in Sunderland
A car carrying four teenagers left the road and plunged into the River Wear in Sunderland, England. The 17-year-old driver managed to jump from the vehicle just before it entered the water. His three passengers could not escape — their bodies were recovered hours later along with the wreckage.
