Remains of 133 soldiers killed in September 1939 discovered in Lviv

Exhumation in Lviv uncovered the remains of 115 Polish and 18 German soldiers killed in September 1939. Three rows of graves with a combined length of around 45 meters were examined. Among the buried Polish soldiers there may be up to ten Ukrainians, who were then Polish citizens. The victims' identities are to be established through DNA methods by the Institute of National Remembrance.
