Missile alerts cost Ukraine's economy $45 million per hour
Ukrainian Economy Minister Oleksandr Kravchenko estimated that each hour of business shutdowns caused by missile alarms costs the country approximately $45 million (£34 million). Russia is increasingly attacking Ukrainian economic infrastructure — industrial plants, warehouses, logistics centers and data centers — seeking, according to the minister, to destroy the entire economy. Kyiv is seeking ways to maintain normal country operations amid intensifying bombardment.
