Post-Paris CO₂ emissions intensified European heat waves

A study published in Nature found that the 2025 heat wave would have been one-third of a degree Celsius cooler without greenhouse gases emitted since 2015. This shows that emissions after the Paris agreement had a measurable impact on the intensity of European heat waves.
