"Wanted" operation in Lublin region: 107 arrested, Ukrainian accused of 2 million zloty fraud
Lublin police arrested 107 wanted persons during a week-long "Wanted" operation based on search warrants and court orders — 14 of them subject to search warrants. Among those arrested was a 25-year-old Ukrainian citizen wanted since 2025 in 13 cases, including two search warrants for fraud using the "bank employee" method. Victims' losses were estimated at nearly 2 million zloty; the man was remanded in custody.
