Train strikes person near Kołbiela, Lublin-Warsaw service halted
On Tuesday, September 29, before 10 p.m., a PKP Intercity Strzelecki passenger train traveling from Zielona Góra to Lublin struck a person on the Lublin-Warsaw railway line near Kołbiela. Fire brigade, ambulance, police and railway security responded. Train service on that line was completely suspended. The IC Strzelecki train waited for police procedures to conclude, estimated to take at least two hours.
